Are Task Lighting products UL and CUL Listed?

Yes, Task Lighting Products are CUL and UL Listed.

Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is a nationally recognized, independent product safety certification organization. UL is affiliated with the Underwriters’ Laboratories of Canada (CUL).

The National Electrical Code, as well as laws in the majority of states, requires that lamps and fixtures be tested by a recognized, independent safety-testing agency before they can be legally sold and installed. UL determines that a manufacturer has demonstrated the ability to produce a product that complies with UL requirements with respect to reasonably foreseeable risks associated with the product. Basically, it means that UL and CUL listed products are safe to use. This is good information to know when looking for a vendor or manufacturer to provide you with signage, modular wiring, checkout lights, Angled Power Strips etc… for your grocery store, convenience store, big box retailer, or supermarket.
