Warranty & Fulfillment Returns
CPW will gladly accept the return of products (Not Custom Built or Made-to-Order) within the warranty or return policy time limit, and only after obtaining a valid RMA (Return Material Authorization) number. Returning any product without an approved RMA by Custom Product Works Inc., WILL NOT be accepted. The return address is defined in the RMA and is the manufacturer's address. All returns must be in their new condition state without damage or being installed.
Refund Time Limit
Refunds are given only when the returned item(s) are received at the designated return location, inspected, and accepted; or canceled orders that have been completed within 15 days from the date of the shipment to qualify for a refund. CPW urges shipments to be inspected upon delivery.
Since each supplier/manufacturer covers defects in the material and workmanship of their products in varying ways, the warranty term links are attached to the product categories of the manufacturer for your review. Any reference to the time frames of the manufacturer is made from the date of purchase. It is the supplier/manufacturer's warranty that determines the issuing of an RMA.
Any products which are being returned (listed in the RMA) that are covered by the manufacturer warranty or fulfillment mistake which requires the item to be returned, you the customer have two choices for the replacement of the items.
1) Request an RMA from CPW and ship the product back (at your cost) to the designated shipping point. For manufacturer warranty or fulfillment mistakes, a return label will be issued. Once the product is received by the manufacturer a replacement will be sent out based upon the inspection and determination of the manufacturer.
2) Create a new order with CPW for the product being returned. This policy is to assure that the RMA item is returned. When the item is returned to the manufacturer, a full refund of the amount will be given when the manufacturer approves the warranty or fulfillment return.
Fulfillment mistakes that CPW makes resulting in the shipment of incorrect products to you will be accepted for return 15 days from the date of shipment and a valid RMA obtained. Note: This means you the buyer must purchase the product again and the refund policy is to assure that the RMA item is returned. When the item is returned to the manufacturer, a full refund of the amount will be given when the manufacturer approves the return to CPW.
Cancel Order and Return Product
A 20% restocking fee from the manufacturer will be charged, in addition to a $25.00 CPW processing fee on all returns. An RMA must be obtained before returning the product within the return time limit. It will be the buyer's responsibility to ship the product back in the same packaging and unaltered state. All returns must be in their new condition state without damage. Products not meeting the new condition status will not receive a refund.
