There are many lighted closet rods on the market today, but what most buyers only see are the price differences. Our LED lighting has the highest purity rating of color with Color Rendering Indexes of (90-97+CRI the higher the number the more accurate the color display) assuring true light output. All manufacturers offer color temperatures from a warm glow to a daylight view with Kelvin ratings from 2700K (warm glow) to 5000K (daylight.) Based upon what Kelvin temperature you select will determine how you will see the clothing in the day or evening time. Neutral 3000K has been the most selected option.

 CPW's SlenderLine DOTLESS LED Closet Rods are available in 1/8" increments from 7" to 96". Installation requirements vary with wall mount plates or hang-down support. The fixtures are completely assembled for a speedy installation. 

 The power requirements of selecting a low voltage 24 Volt DC system versus a 12Volt DC system doesn’t mean anything thing to the average person, but must be considered resulting in reduced cost. If the total wattage for all the rod fixtures is greater than 60 watts but less than 100 watts, the 24Volt DC system should be chosen eliminating the need for an additional driver. The other consideration is the distance from the closet to the driver. A 24Volt DC system has less power loss and a smaller connection wire that can be used to reduce cost.

Our extruded aluminum architectural finish closet rod has a nominal diameter of one inch, with various mounting and center support brackets made from cast aluminum. The lens used in each rod creates an even distribution of light with its curved design.  Center support is a must for various rod-weight loads, but we have seen custom wood supports being used versus metal for architectural purposes. Rods exceeding three to four feet usually require a support bracket, but if only light weigh items are being hung, we have seen five and six-foot spans used.

Experience has shown that rod color finishes are an unnecessary expense. Once a rod is lit, you do not see the finish color. Secondly, when clothing is on the hangers, a lot of the rod is covered.
